Bama is committed to being the best!

Bama has successfully completed a SQF Code Edition 7, Level 2/ GFSI certification. Also, we were one of the first to implement a multi species HACCP plan and continue to be HACCP certified for multiple species. Our facility is federally inspected and we employ full time, on site, third party USDC inspectors. Bama provides USDC inspections on both domestic and imported product with the vast majority of all domestic product we produce being USDC “Grade A” or higher.
Our in house Quality Control team includes members with advanced degrees in both Zoology and Marine Sciences. They insure the safest product with incoming, on-line and outgoing inspections.
To ensure the same quality and safety from our imported product, Bama only works with overseas plants that are SGF or BRC certified. We also have QC staff on the production line at any plant we work with around the globe.
